The Department of American Literature, School of English, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece, in collaboration with the Hellenic Association for American Studies (HELAAS), is announcing the organization of the 2nd Summer School to take place in Thessaloniki, at Aristotle University between Wednesday 29 June to Tuesday 5 July 2016 with the title “Crossing Borders and Civic Engagement in a Changing World.”.

07/2016 - Summer Academy in Greece by Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence and the Unesco Chair of the University of Macedonia (Volos)

The University of Macedonia in Greece organises the first Summer Academy in Zagora on the Pilion mountain in Greece consisted of two summer schools from July 8 to July 20, 2016.

The first summer school is organised by the Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence of the University of Macedonia for 3 days on the "EU Area of Freedom, Security and Justice" (25 hours) 0n July 8-July 11, 2016.

Special guest is Miguel Gardeñes Santiago, Profesor Titular in Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona who will teach on EU Private International Law.

After 5 years of successful “National Minorities and Border Regions” Summer Schools and 5 years of conducting the MA-level Minority Regime Seminar hosted by the Europa Universität Flensburg, ECMI decided to launch in partnership with the Ukrainian Catholic University an intensive training programme in minority issues in Lviv, Ukraine, between 29 August and 4 September 2016.
