The next event in the series of Vitae Connections: Leadership in researcher development will take place on the 28 April 2016 in Glasgow, Scotland and is part of the upcoming series of Leadership events and activities.
Leadership has been identified as a core area of the professional development of researcher developers by, among others, the Career Framework for Researcher Developers (CFRD) which includes elements relating to thought leadership and innovation in developing researchers.
This one-day professional development event aims to develop the leadership capabilities of staff supporting researchers, both in the UK and internationally. The morning sessions will focus on the professional development of leadership capabilities and the afternoon sessions will concentrate on the application of leadership capabilities within the researcher development context.
Call for content is currently open for this event. We invite abstracts for presentations by 8 February 2016. More details are available here: http://bit.ly/1IS3vC4
