They are focused on the study of bio-safety disposal and the resource utilization of the organic solid waste such as municipal sludge, livestock manure etc.
Their Engineering Reasearch Center looks at garbage and sludge treatment in Xinjiang. They want to cooperate with universities and reserch centers in terms of sludge treatment too: Solid Waste Resources (city sludge, petroleum sludge) disposal process design, engineering construction, the core equipment manufacturing, system integration, the development and utilization of efficient biological agents, sludge drying, sludge fermentation etc.
