Applications are invited for up to three positions as bioinformaticians/computational biologists in the single-cell profiling division. The successful applicants for the positions will be working with both the Hong Kong and Stockholm nodes.
Ming Wai Lau Centre for Reparative Medicine of Karolinska Institutet is· looking for highly motivated persons interested in the area of research of MWLC. The candidates should have a collaborative approach to research, working productively in a team. The laboratory welcomes applications from candidates with PhD degree in Computational Biology, Biostatistics, Bioinformatics, or relevant fields, with strong programming skills in C, C++, Java, JavaScript, Python, PERL or R, with a proven record in renowned publications. Excellent command of written and spoken English is required. Candidates should have experience in at least one of the following areas:
Transcriptomics (single cell and bulk)
Epigenomics (single cell and bulk)
High-throughput screen deconvolution (genome editing including CRISPR-based, etc)
Comparative genomics
Systems biology intregration of genomics, epigenomics, proteomics datasets
Modelling of biological systems
