The Computer Research Institute of Montréal (CRIM) is an industrial research centre in information technology, firmly established in Québec since 1985. CRIM is one of the very few IT applied research centres in Canada.
Its researchers and recognized professionals have a unique expertise and are developing a wide range of applications in diverse sectors, aimed at accelerating the transfer of knowledge to businesses.
CRIM, working in collaborative mode with its clients and partners, conducts applied research, development and technological support activities on behalf of client-businesses and organizations.

CRIM is looking for candidates who hold a Ph.D. and are interested in pursuing a career in research of an industrial nature in areas including, but not limited to the following:
Data Science
Speech recognition
Image and video processing (2D or 3D)
Deep Learning
Vocal and visual biometrics
Software architecture and web services
Cybersecurity
Successful candidates, reporting to a team director, will demonstrate a capacity to define an original program of applied research, in an open environment where collaboration with CRIM experts in other fields is essential.
