The GIGA German Institute of Global and Area Studies / Leibniz-Institut für Globale und Regionale Studien is an independent social-science research institute based in Hamburg. It analyses political, social and economic developments in Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Middle East, and links this knowledge to questions of global significance. It combines region-specific analysis with innovative comparative research on accountability and participation, growth and development, peace and security, and power and ideas. The GIGA seeks to appoint four Postdoctoral Research Fellows.

DESY, Zeuthen location, is seeking:

Postdocs (f/m) in Gamma-ray Astrophysics

DESY

DESY is one of the world’s leading research centres for photon science, particle and astroparticle physics as well as accelerator physics. The Zeuthen location of DESY has a strong focus on astroparticle physics, particularly gamma-ray and neutrino astronomy. The experimental groups are accompanied by a strong astroparticle theory group.

The position

INRA is recruiting 49 experienced scientists proficient in designing and implementing research projects.

either to candidates with a PhD (or equivalent) and at least 4 years' experience in research,
or to candidates who can justify an equivalent level of research.
