Scientists from the JRC and from the IRCCS-Mario Negri Institute for Pharmacological Research (Milan, Italy), the Istituti Clinici di Perfezionamento Hospital, (Milan, Italy), and the Institute of Applied Mathematics and Information Technologies of the National Research Council (Milan, Italy) report the prevalence of neuropathic cancer pain, as estimated using a Bayesian informative approach. This includes data gathered from a systematic review of the published literature and collected through a survey from palliative care specialists, involving 50 Italian centres, which are part of the Italian Observatory for Palliative Care.
