EURAXESS Links China is co-organising a conference for junior European/Europe-affiliated researchers who are engaged in research on contemporary China (social sciences and humanities). The deadline for submission is 29 February!
"New European Research on Contemporary China" (NERCC) aims to bring together doctoral candidates, post-doctoral researchers and recent PhDs to produce an overview of the emerging problematics in Chinese studies in European research. Interested candidates must be either a) European nationals (regardless of affiliation) or b) Nationals of any other country, affiliated to a European research institution. The focus of the conference is contemporary China in a multi-disciplinary social science perspective. The main organiser is French Center for Contemporary China.
NERCC will take place on 4-6 July 2016 in the EU Delegation to China in Beijing. The conference will sponsor part of the domestic travel within China and/or accommodation in Beijing for selected participants. No funding is available for international travel.
