BIGCHEM (BIG data in CHEMistry) is a Marie Skodowska-Curie Innovative Training Network (ITN) for Early Stage Researchers (ESR) funded by the European Commission under the H2020 Programme. The BIGCHEM ITN will provide a comprehensive and cross-disciplinary structured curriculum for doctoral students in large chemical data analysis using machine-learning, computational chemistry and chemoinformatics methods. The Spemann Graduate School of Biology and Medicine (SGBM) is the only International Graduate School funded by the German Excellence Initiative of the DFG at the University of Freiburg. It relies on the expertise provided by the Excellence Clusters BIOSS (Center for Biological Signalling Studies) and BL-BT (BrainLinks-BrainTools), several outstanding collaborative research centers as well as the Max Planck Institute of Immunobiology and Epigenetics and the Bernstein Center Freiburg.

Applications are invited from graduates in the physical sciences, life sciences and engineering, for four-year studentships with the Diamond Science and Technology (DST) Centre for Doctoral Training (CDT).
