The research center is focused on developing novel cell based immune therapies for primary and metastatic tumors. Inherently linked to the tumor therapy paradigm, we engineer receptor targeted biological therapeutics and employ genetically engineered imaging markers to image cell fate and monitor their therapeutic efficacy in real time in vivo.

MeInBio is a PhD research training group at the University of Freiburg and the Max Planck Institute of Immunobiology and Epigenetics Freiburg. It aims at a dual education in bioinformatics and wet laboratory methods to explore the spatio-temporal dynamics of gene regulation using high-throughput and high-resolution methods.
